Backwashing is greatly reduced by the unique "Bump" handle: simply bump the handle to redistribute the D.E., and in less than a minute, you're ready to continue filtering. The filter system comes with a high performance, corrosion-proof pump mounted on a rustproof poly base. Great for new or existing pools. Does not include D.E. (diatomaceous earth) filtering media.
